Payments Data Analyst
Job Description
We’re looking for a Payments Data Analyst to join our Digital Risk team at Frasers Group. Reporting into the Payments Data Analytics Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the analysis and reporting of eCommerce payments and fraud performance.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their data career who is passionate about analytics, payments, and eCommerce, and keen to develop their skills in a fast‑paced, commercial environment.
What you’ll be doing
Produce, validate and maintain regular reporting and dashboards covering:Payment performance and costs
Fraud and chargeback trends
Operational metrics for the fraud and payments teams
Analyse data to identify trends, anomalies and performance issues
Investigate unexpected movements in data and support root cause analysis
Respond to ad‑hoc data requests from Digital Risk, Finance and eCommerce teams
Support accurate monitoring of key payment and fraud metrics
Work with structured datasets using Excel and SQL‑based tools (e.g. BigQuery)
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and, on occasion, external payment partners
Your insights will help:
Improve payment acceptance rates
Reduce costs and chargebacks
Strengthen fraud prevention
Deliver a smooth and reliable checkout experience for customers
By providing accurate, timely and insightful analytics, you’ll directly support both day‑to‑day operations and longer‑term commercial decision making.
