Multi Trades Recruitment are looking for a Yard Operative to work in a manufacturing facility located in Petersfield, dedicated to producing high-quality products for our customers. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a diligent and reliable Yard Operative to join our team.
Job Description: As a Yard Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our manufacturing facility. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Operating within the yard area to ensure smooth flow of materials and products.
- Safely handling and storing materials and products.
- Loading and unloading goods using forklift trucks (FLT).
- Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the yard area.
- Assisting with general duties around the facility as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
- Valid FLT licence is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
