I'm looking for multiple Principal Product Safety Engineers to join a leading Defence organisation in Frimley.

This is hybrid-working role of 4 days per month onsite in Frimley, Surrey.

You MUST be eligible for Security Clearance (SC) to be considered for this role.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing advice on product safety matters to project and engineering managers delivering the programmes and ensuring the safety considerations are correctly considered and implemented
  • Engaging with third parties, to review and gather supporting safety case evidence
  • Developing safety arguments, both physical and functional, using appropriate safety analyses methods, producing and updating safety case and safety management documentation using appropriate regulations and standards
  • Line managing other safety practitioners

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Safety engineering processes, practices and tools
  • Clear understanding of safety engineering & assurance principals
  • Experience and qualified engineers from other disciplines who display the correct behaviours and have an understanding of safety engineering, will actively be considered for this role

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Good communication skills and ability to interact and manage stakeholders

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that has done this kind of role previously within Aerospace & Defence.

The salary is £50,000 to £65,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
