I am looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor in the North East, to start immediately.

As a Civils Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects for external clients.

Reporting into the Managing QS, this permanent position is well suited to an individual who is looking to work on exciting and complex projects, managing projects from conception to completion.

You will be working in the Structural and Civil Engineering department. To be successful you should be organised and methodical, and have the ability to work alongside individuals at different levels and across different disciplines. You will be working on a variety of different projects, such experience in commercial, retail, heritage and/or education construction is vital. You will also be leading multiple projects, so experience as a commercial lead is essential.

You must have at least 3+ years QS experience if you are qualified at a degree level in the field of construction, or alternatively 5 years’ experience if you do not hold a relevant qualification. Your experience should be within structural and civil engineering.

A full, valid driving licence and car is required as regional travel is expected. Occasionally, you may work with clients on a national scale, so national travel may be necessary.
