What will you do as SEO Copywriter?

You’ll support the Communications Manager with clear, engaging copy in NESF’s voice for a wide range of mediums (blogs, guides, whitepapers, webpages, and sales materials) and proofread/edit as needed. This content should make complex topics relatable to our global community of clients and engineers and drive growth.

Based at our global headquarters in the UK, you’ll work alongside an international marketing team of designers, communications, and no two days will be the same. This position is perfect for you if you’re looking for a varied role where you can develop your communications career within a global organisation.

You will:
  • Creating highly engaging weekly blog content for our websites (NESF, Redbock, Bedrock, NES Advantage) in line with our SEO strategy.
  • One new whitepaper per quarter covering a key industry topic, with the ultimate goal of generating client leads for the business.
  • Writing new SEO-optimised web copy and updating existing copy when required across all NESF group websites.
  • Collaborate closely with our external web and SEO agencies.
  • Identify content gaps and work alongside the Communications Manager to develop quarterly content plans in line with our campaign strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider marketing team to develop content marketing plans for all content created.
  • Report on content and SEO ROI, making adjustments as required.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, SEO best practices and competitor activity.
  • Assist with email marketing copy when required.
 What can you bring to this SEO Copywriter role?
  • Degree in marketing/creative writing/journalism or equivalent professional marketing qualification
  • 2 +years’ experience working in a copywriting role or similar.
  • Fluent in English / Excellent written English
  • SEO copywriting experience, including experience using SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush).
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivation with a strong drive for success
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Team player and passionate about working collaboratively
