Based at Secondary School, East Hull

Salary: M1 to M9 GBP30,000 to GBP46,525 (depending on experience)

Start Date: 1 September 2024

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Teacher of Technology (food specialism preferred).We are looking for a highly-motivated, forward-thinking and passionate individual to facilitate and encourage learning which enables pupils to achieve high standards.

The post holder will play a key role in supporting the well-being, education and discipline of all pupils.

Job Purpose: To facilitate and encourage learning which enables student to achieve high standards: to share and support the corporate responsibility for the well-being, education and discipline of all students

Plan and teach well-structured lessons of a high standard to students following designated programmes of study, carrying out necessary
assessments, proving information/comments for records, monitor students in accordance with agreed departmental strategies, promote a
love of learning and students intellectual curiosity, set homework and plan other out of class activities to consolidate and extend knowledge
and understanding.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
