The Company

An opportunity has arisen for a Civil Design Engineer with residential development experience to join a leading multidisciplinary design consultancy in their Bristol office. Going the extra mile to provide a quality and bespoke service, they specialise in urban, architectural, and civil engineering design within the residential sector. Role and Responsibilities

As a skilled Civil Design Engineer your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing support for planning applications (drainage strategy, flood risk assessments, long sections etc)
  • Road and adoptable drainage designs and external detailing
  • Preparing engineering packages for Section 38, 278, and 104 approvals
  • Liaising and negotiating with clients and other consultants (Environment Agency and Highways authorities)
  • Producing designs, drawings and reports using relevant software
  • Maintaining our company standards of quality and consistency
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Experience with AutoCAD, PDS and/or Flow
  • Excellent communication and numerical skills
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills
  • An avid problem solver with a keen attention to detail
  • Plenty of motivation, vision, and drive
