Our client is seeking a qualified professional to oversee and manage lifting activities for a major project. This role involves ensuring the safety, efficiency, and compliance of all lifting operations on-site.

Based: HPC Bridgwater
Salary: Flexible
Permanent role
42 hours a week Mon-Fri
Ability to obtain SC clearance is essential

Key Deliverables:

Develop and implement lifting procedures, coordination plans, introduction studies, and lift plans.
Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and NNB lifting standards.
Promote and maintain health and safety through site inspections supporting a positive Nuclear Safety Culture.
Support the Lifting Lead in ensuring nuclear safety and site license requirements are met.
Assist in compiling and producing weekly and monthly reports.
Ensure resources meet organizational requirements in line with the delivery schedule.
Support project delivery on time, within budget and quality standards as per HPC requirements.


Qualifications and Experience:

CPCS A61 Appointed Person (Blue Card) and ECITB Appointed Person Moving Loads (preferred).
NVQ Level 3 in Steel Erecting/Moving Loads.
Able to achieve Security Clearance (BPSS or higher).
IOSH Managing Safely qualification.
Experience in lift planning using various cranes and rigging operations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Preferably, a background in nuclear power and major construction projects.
