Hours: 36 - 42 hours - includes 6 hours supernumerary
Salary: £22ph - equates to up to £48,000

Amber Mace are working with a fantastic care provider who are looking for a lead nurse with strong clinical and leadership skills to lead and mentor the team at a lovely small seaside nursing home in New Milton with a history of Good/Outstanding CQC ratings.  This care provider truly believes in providing a home from home experience for their residents who are encouraged to have an input into the activities, menu planning and decor of the home.

As Lead Nurse your role will be not only to provide caring and compassionate support for the residents but to also lead and mentor the nurse team to ensure the high standards the home are known for by the residents, families, CQC and the wider community are maintained.  You may also be involved in the induction of new team members and quality assurance audits.

Main Responsibilities
•    To lead the nursing team to provide high quality, person centred care and support in way which promotes: dignity; privacy; safety and independence and which promotes equality & diversity for everyone living and working in  the Service.
•    To comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times.
•    To provide Clinical Leadership and supervision within the Service

Skills/ Qualifications required of the Clinical Lead:
•             Valid NMC PIN - essential
•             Strong clinical skills and experience
•             Ability to supervise and lead a clinical team
•             Possess a strong understanding of the needs of people living with dementia and other age related illnesses.
•             You’ll provide the very best levels of clinical care, make sure that all procedures are carried out to the highest of standards and optimising the wellbeing of every resident
•    Previous experience within a care home environment
