Repairs Planner

Location: Kent

Hourly Pay Rate: £18 to £20 per hour Umbrella

Duration: Interim, 3 month contract

Greenacre are pleased to be supporting a social housing organisation, based in Kent, with their recruitment of a repairs planner.

The ideal candidate will provide an excellent standard of customer service and maximise productivity through competent work and scheduling. You will be able to build strong working relationships with both the customer service and trade functions, whilst acting in accordance with departmental practices, standing orders and financial processes.

What will you do in the role?

• Effectively and proactively schedule resources so that operatives diaries are full for the day and optimise productivity.
• Make sure all work and tasks are completed with end to end checks and being able to reschedule any follow up work that is required.
• Inform customers via a phone call about any operatives that may be running late or in order to reschedule appointment.
• Respond to internal and customers enquiries, which will involve informing trade supervisors if appointments are missed so a suitable solution can be found for the customer.

Who would excel in this role?

• A candidate with a sound knowledge of typical repair requests/systems and solutions that arise across housing stock.
• Someone with strong data entry skills, effective decision making and the ability to prioritise workloads.
• A candidate with very good customer service, organistaion, literacy and numeracy skills.
