Jackson Hogg is an outsourced people services company, providing recruitment, HR and training services to businesses in STEM driven sectors.  We are looking to expand our Industrial (Blue Collar) recruitment team and are seeking dynamic individuals to join us.

Job Description:

As a Recruitment Consultant specialising in the Industrial (Blue Collar – temp & perm) sector, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and placing top talent into roles within the industrial and manufacturing industries. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to liaising with clients and ensuring successful placements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients within the industrial sector. Understand their recruitment needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Use various channels (job boards, social media, networking) to identify and attract high-quality candidates. Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess suitability.
  • Placement Process: Match candidates to appropriate roles, facilitate interviews, and manage the offer process. Provide ongoing support to both clients and candidates throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and employment legislation relevant to the industrial sector.
  • Sales and Business Development: Proactively seek new business opportunities and expand the client base through networking and relationship-building activities.
  • Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the recruitment database, ensuring compliance with company policies and data protection regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in recruitment is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from individuals with experience in sales, customer service, or related fields who are looking to transition into recruitment.
  • Industry Knowledge: An understanding of the industrial or manufacturing sector is beneficial but not mandatory. A strong interest and willingness to learn about this industry are essential.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Proficient in using recruitment software and MS Office.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
