**Python Developer** (Contract)

Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for Extension)

Location: Hybrid/Nottingham

Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day rate is available for suitable candidates

About the role

A recognised technical leader, who provides the steer, informing and decision making in their area of

expertise with sound judgement and a proven track record in Python Development.

Able to solve technical and non technical problems quickly, leveraging past experiences and lateral

thinking, to offer innovative and novel solutions that directly influence the strategic direction of the

team and wider business. Guide and deliver the technical solutions and infrastructure to support the

migration of business processes from SAS to Python, building the Python functionality and packages

required to support the team in the scheduling of our new reporting portfolio.

What we're looking for:

• Proficient in one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages -
• this must include extensive experience with Python.
• Preferred experience in both SQL & SAS.
• Preferred exposure to Cloud / AWS.
• Hands-on practical experience leading the build and architecture of greenfield,
• industry-standard compliant projects. .
• Ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions that fulfil the
• technical needs of the business.
• A proven track record of system design, application development, testing, and operational
• Technical leadership, delivery, and architecture design.
