Join an exciting and dynamic team as a Legal Contracts Advisor with our client's Global Supply and Trading Organisation! As part of their global Contracts group, you will play a crucial role in supporting contract requirements for their supply and trading business. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in contract administration and make an impact in a fast-moving commercial environment.

Pay £195 per day, start ASAP, this is a temp to perm position, the position will likely be temporary for 6 months, this is a hybrid working role, you will be required in the office Tuesday-Thursday, Monday and Friday would be working at home, hours Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week, location of the office is Canary Wharf.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate contracts and review, understand, and draught responses to contracts received from customers for the purchase of crude and products cargoes.
  • Incorporate trade economics, complex physical delivery clauses, and legal terms into contracts.
  • Liaise with Traders/Trading Analysts to resolve trade discrepancies on a daily basis.
  • Administer all contract work from initiation through to completion.
  • Review and recommend amendments to customers' General Terms and Conditions (GT&C) as necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments such as Trading, Operations, Finance, Legal, Credit, and Tax.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, aligning priorities and workload with business needs and expectations.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Understanding of INCOTERMS
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive with a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused with solid planning and organisational skills.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal and motivational abilities.
