Warehouse/Production Op
Position: Packing Operative
Pay: £11.44 per hour
My client is a family-oriented company looking for a dedicated Packing Operative to join their team. If you have a good technical understanding, experience with machinery, and can handle physical tasks, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
" 80% Packing Operations:
" Operate packing machine to bag products.
" Clean packing machine and perform monthly deep cleans.
" Ensure accuracy of printing, labels, and weights on bags and boxes.
" Check stock shelves to maintain adequate packing supplies.
" Organize production to meet order schedules.
" Maintain production and cleaning logs, ensuring traceability.
" Report any machinery defects immediately.
" 20% General Warehouse Duties:
" Clean and organize the warehouse.
" Move pallets of raw materials for easy stock access.
" Assist drivers with loading vans and occasional deliveries.
" Support the Roaster as needed.
" Follow up on ad-hoc requests from directors.
Requirements:
" Good technical understanding and experience with machinery.
" Ability to lift to 25KG.
" Experience in a food environment is a bonus.
" Fluent in reading and writing English.
" Reliable, with a preference for candidates with young families.
Working Hours:
" 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
