Our client are currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team at a leading dry lining and partitioning sub-contractor.

This specialist sub-contractor renowned for delivering top-quality dry lining and partitioning solutions across various sectors.

Role Overview:

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support our commercial team in managing all aspects of the financial and contractual side of our dry lining and partitioning projects. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and grow within a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tenders for dry lining and partitioning projects.

Perform detailed quantity take-offs and measurements from project drawings and specifications.

Assist in the procurement of materials and subcontractors, ensuring best value and compliance with project requirements.

Support the preparation and submission of interim valuations and final accounts.

Help in the preparation of monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts.

Assist in managing project variations and change orders, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

Collaborate with project managers and site teams to monitor project progress and financial performance.

Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, contracts, and project documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

Previous experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the dry lining and partitioning sector, is an advantage.

Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen interest in learning and development.
