Recruitment Consultant (Construction) - Manchester - Up to £45,000 basic + commission

PWM are looking for a motivated and dedicated Recruitment Consultant who has construction recruitment experience, to join a growing team and be part of its exciting future.

We are an SME that works within Rail Infrastructure, Civils, General Construction and Build. PWM have clear growth plans in place which will reward the incoming recruitment consultant financially and help to grow their career.

We are looking for someone who wants to shape their own future and play an important part in growing the recruitment department through a dynamic and with an innovative strategy.

Key responsibilities

  • Identifying and developing client/business relationships.
  • Regularly attend client meetings with new and existing companies.
  • Advising on and selling the most appropriate solution for attracting candidates and maintaining a candidate database.
  • Assessing and responding to the needs of each particular client or assignment.
  • Sourcing suitable candidates and briefing them on the opportunities offered by the client.
  • Managing the process through the interview to offer stage and beyond.
  • Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidate.
  • Offering CV, interview and general career advice.
  • Networking to build business information that can be converted into commercial opportunities.
  • Ensure all applicants are fully compliant.

The ideal candidate

We are looking for someone with construction recruitment experience ideally within freelance/contract recruitment. Any potential applicant must possess:

  • A strong and proven track record in sales, networking and/or client development abilities.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong commercial business acumen.
  • A passionate desire to succeed and build a successful career.
  • A winning mentality.
  • The ability to overcome objection and be persistent.
