Our client has an immediate requirement for an Electrical Engineer to be based at their site in Penrith, Cumbria. The successful Electrical Engineer will work as part of a team and will be responsible for carrying out the planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns to the machinery on site, ensuring it remains operational whilst following health and safety guidelines.

The successful Electrical Engineer will be joining a family-run business where you will work with a small team of friendly engineers. Working Monday to Friday on a rotational AM/PM shift pattern (no nights). Please note, you will also be part of the on-call Rota 1 week, every 4 weeks.

Electrical Engineer Requirements:

  • Must have completed a recognised apprenticeship program and hold an electrical qualification to level 3 as a minimum.
  • Hold 18th Edition.
  • Strong electrical fault finding and diagnostic experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering diagrams and schematics.
  • Experience with electrical controls, PLCs for fault finding purposes.
  • Flexibility to join call out Rota.
