About the role:

As our School Cleaner, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will be cleaning the school to a high standard for our children and young people and storing all cleaning materials safely at the end of the duty period in the appropriate storage facility

About you:

Ideally, for this role, we are looking for someone who has experience of working within a school and has a passion for cleaning. You will be a hardworking individual with a flexible can-do attitude and have an organised approach. You will have a good eye for detail, as you will be reporting damage, faults and repairs to the maintenance team. Above all, we are looking for someone who wants to make a difference to our young people’s lives and by presenting their school in the best possible way.

Fernways School, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist day school in Surrey, for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 16. We provide a safe learning environment for pupils living with autism (ASC) and associated learning needs.
