Site Manager – Industrial Fit-Out Project -
- Location: Heathrow, UK
- Contract Type: Temporary (2 months)
- Salary: £250 per day
- Working Days: Monday to Friday (Potential Saturdays during specific periods)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to oversee the fit-out of an industrial unit within a developing industrial park near Heathrow. This role is ideal for someone who has a proven track record of managing construction projects valued up to £5 million.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Management: Oversee all aspects of the site operations, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards and adhering to timelines and budget constraints. Manage daily on-site operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure all equipment and materials are available as needed.
- Team Leadership: Collaborate with another Site Manager, taking full responsibility for the project during their absence from 14th June for two weeks. Provide guidance and support to the site team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Safety and Compliance: Uphold stringent safety standards on-site, conducting regular safety audits, ensuring all site personnel comply with safety regulations. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work performed, ensuring it meets the project specifications and industry standards. Address any discrepancies or issues promptly to avoid delays.
- Reporting and Documentation: Keep accurate records of construction progress, budget expenditure, and any incidents. Prepare reports for senior management detailing site activities and progress.
- Client Liaison: Act as the point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns to ensure client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Experience: Substantial experience as a Site Manager in industrial or similar projects.
- Qualifications: Must hold SMSTS, Black CSCS card, and 3 Day First Aid certification. Fire Marshall certification is preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership skills, capable of running a project independently.
- Availability: Must be available to start immediately and commit for the duration of the contract. Availability to work Saturdays during the two-week period in June is a plus.
