Job Summary:

As Senior Paid Search Executive, you will be crafting, deploying, and overseeing our client’s paid search advertising strategies, with a keen focus on financial products and services. Your mission will be to amplify their clients' online visibility and propel their marketing and sales initiatives within the competitive landscape of consumer finance. Your expertise will be pivotal in identifying and targeting the specific financial needs and interests of consumers, utilising advanced PPC techniques to attract high-quality leads and convert them into loyal customers.

In this role, you will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the consumer finance market, including homeowner loans, mortgages, pensions and investment products, tailoring their paid search campaigns to resonate with the unique demands of this sector. Your strategic approach will involve continuously evaluating and refining their PPC tactics to ensure they align with the evolving trends and regulations of the financial industry. This will include leveraging data analytics to make informed decisions, optimising campaigns for maximum ROI, and ensuring that their digital marketing efforts comply with financial advertising standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute comprehensive paid search campaigns tailored to the consumer finance industry, focusing on achieving company goals such as generating qualified leads, and acquiring new customers in financial sectors like homeowner loans, credit, financing and pensions.
  • Perform detailed keyword research to identify terms that align with consumer financial products and services, crafting targeted ad copy and managing bids to maximise campaign performance and ROI.
  • Analyse campaign data to discern trends and behavioural patterns of the consumer finance audience, using these insights to drive strategic decisions, improve return on investment, and minimise cost per acquisition for financial services.
  • Monitor and optimise campaign budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints, while aiming for the highest possible return.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and developers, to maintain a unified digital marketing strategy that enhances the visibility and appeal of consumer financial products.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to staying informed about the latest paid search innovations, financial product trends, and regulatory changes in the consumer finance industry, applying this knowledge to maintain a competitive edge in campaign execution.
  • Generate comprehensive reports for clients within the financial sector, detailing campaign performance, deriving key insights, and formulating strategic recommendations to continually refine and enhance future paid search initiatives.
  • Conduct regular A/B testing of ads and landing pages, analysing the results to identify the most effective strategies for improving conversion rates and overall campaign efficiency.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant ad serving policies, industry standards, and regulations, particularly those specific to the consumer finance sector, to uphold the integrity and legality of marketing campaigns.

 Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise as a Senior Paid Search Executive or in a comparable role, with a robust track record of devising and managing effective paid search campaigns, particularly in the consumer finance sector. This includes a history of improving lead generation, customer acquisition, and brand visibility for financial products and services.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and other relevant PPC platforms, with a deep understanding of search engine marketing (SEM) strategies and practices as they apply to consumer finance, ensuring the effective promotion of financial products and services.
  • Advanced analytical abilities, with proven experience in data analysis and proficiency in using reporting tools like LookerStudio and Google Analytics. These skills are essential for making data-driven decisions and optimising the financial performance of paid search campaigns.
  • A strong grasp of digital marketing concepts and best practices, with the ability to apply them to the consumer finance industry, ensuring that paid search strategies are both effective and compliant with industry standards.
  • Capability to manage multiple paid search campaigns concurrently, balancing various objectives and deadlines, while maintaining a focus on delivering results in the fast-paced consumer finance market.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organisational skills, and an analytical, data-driven approach to campaign management, ensuring that all paid search initiatives are aligned with the financial goals and customer acquisition strategies of the company.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders, facilitating the sharing of insights, and ensuring that paid search campaigns are integrated with broader marketing objectives.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred, providing a strong academic foundation to support the strategic and tactical demands of paid search campaign management in the consumer finance sector.
