We are currently recruiting an Area Security Officer to work across a portfolio of sites in Chester and the surrounding areas.

This exciting opportunity will allow you to work on a cluster of prestigious sites, with a high standard of security needing to be met at all times. The rate of pay is £12.10 per hour with mileage payable after 20 miles each way.

This is a full-time position working a combination of days, nights and weekends on a 42 hour per week basis.

This role does not have a set shift pattern however a roster will be populated 1 month in advance (subject to change).

Your Time at Work
As a Area Security Officer at G4S, you are more than a Security Guard. You'll ensure the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

The sites covered can include Chester, Crewe, Warrington, Liverpool, Wrexham, Flint and the Wirral.

Other duties will include:
-Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
-Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site
-Gatehouse duties
-Conducting searches when required
-Patrolling of the premises - both inside and outside
-Dealing with any security incidents on site and completing relevant incident report forms
-Front of House / Concierge duties

Travel up to 55 miles each way (mileage paid at 45p per mile paid after 20 miles each way)

Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect Area Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.

It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA license, however, it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) license training.

Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that you hold a Full UK Driving License and have access to your own transport.
