Performance Test Engineer, €75,000-€85,000, Hybrid, Co. Westmeath

Position Overview:

As a Performance Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our clients' systems. You will work closely with development and operations teams to design and execute performance tests, analyze results, and drive improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute performance tests to validate system scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend optimizations.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to understand performance requirements and ensure they are met.
• Develop and maintain performance testing scripts and frameworks.
• Monitor and report on application performance using appropriate tools and metrics.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in performance testing and cloud computing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Performance Test Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing tools and frameworks (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
