Borgers Ltd a Company of Autoneum based at Hortonwood 30 produces acoustically efficient components for automotive car manufacturers supplying to Jaguar Landrover,  BMW, Aston Martin, Toyota and Rolls Royce.

Reporting to the on shift Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment including site services.  This will include a total preventative maintenance program, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical and robotic equipment (including software programming) ensuring that  all Health & Safety and Environmental legislation is adhered to at all times.

Working in conjunction with your team leader you will support to ensure  that the communication of information across shifts and departments is maintained. Multi skilled with pneumatic and hydraulic experience you must be electrically qualified (ideally by completion of an apprenticeship) and ideally have Siemens PLC and ABB robot experience gained within a high volume manufacturing environment, ideally automotive. Toolroom experience would additionally be advantageous.

Working 40 hrs per week across a rotating 2 shift pattern of 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm the position is however contracted to a 3 shift pattern.  A small night shift is shortly to be introduced and this will necessitate the team working a night shift on a rota basis with the night shift commences on Sunday night.
