Technical Director - Civils

£75k-£80k plus package

Our client is looking to make a strategic appointment within their management team. As a Technical Director you will work closely with the Director, leading the civil engineering team on detailed and strategy design for a broad range of projects.

Sectors include: Education, commercial, industrial and residential.

About you:

• Hold a degree, or equivalent, in civil engineering
• Chartered or near Chartered
• Extensive design experience in roads and drainage
• Able to produce flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
• Team leader with exceptional technical ability that you can impart
• Sound business acumen and understanding of design standards
• Able to manage project resourcing, review & approve work by others and oversee financial aspects of schemes
• Able to prepare project bids

This role needs a leader - someone who can inspire a team and encourage innovative thinking and design ideas. You should have extensive experience within a UK consultancy and understand the importance of completing projects on time and within budget.
