Cnc Miller Programmer Setter Operator

We are recruiting for a CNC Programmer/Setter for a Precision Engineering business supplying into the F1, Motorsport and Automotive markets. Due to increase of orders across their biggest customers as well as large investment throughout the business to maximise capacity, the growing business is looking to add a CNC Programmer/Setter to their day shift.
What does it involve?
The company is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist who has experience working within a fast-paced Sub-Contract Machine Shop to machine parts on their 3, 4 and 5 axis machinery. Heidenhain experience is essential.
What’s needed for me to be considered?
- Experienced CNC Miller – skilled Programming/Setter/Operator.
- Competent with Heidenhain controls (Essential)
- Offline Programming HyperMILL (advantageous)
- Familiar with DMG, Mikron, Matsuura, Bridgeport machines (advantageous, not essential)
- Creating and editing programs online and offline for 5 axis.
- Reading of technical drawings with both metric and imperial measurements.
- Understand of GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
- Previous experience in a sub-contract machine shop environment.
- Use of metrology tools - Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Gauges etc.
