Project Manager – Industrial Build Project

Location: Stoke on Trent
Start Date: June 2026
Duration: Approx. 30 Weeks
Contract / Freelance Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a new industrial build project based in Stoke-on-Trent, commencing in June 2026 for an anticipated duration of approximately 30 weeks.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven construction professional with a strong background in industrial or commercial builds to take ownership of a fast-paced project from site mobilisation through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall management and coordination of the project programme
  • Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Managing client relationships and project reporting
  • Coordinating with design and commercial teams
  • Monitoring quality control and compliance standards
  • Chairing site meetings and driving programme performance

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing industrial or commercial construction projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification preferred
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain programme deadlines
