A precision engineering manufacturer is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join their growing technical team in Poole.
This is a great opportunity for someone with offline programming and CAM experience who enjoys working on complex components and improving manufacturing processes.
CNC Programmer - Key Responsibilities
- Offline programming and optimisation of CNC milling programs
- Developing machining strategies from engineering drawings and 3D models
- Supporting machine setup, prove-outs and troubleshooting
- Improving tooling, cycle times and production efficiency
- Supporting operators and sharing best practice on the shop floor
- Working closely with engineering and production teams
CNC Programmer - Requirements
- CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with CAM software (e.g. Mastercam, Vericut or similar)
- Good understanding of multi-axis CNC machining
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
