Questech Recruitment are looking for an experienced Machine Operator (with 360/Loading Shovel experience) to join our client's busy metal recycling operation.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, and experienced in fast-paced industrial environments.
Location: DN4
Shifts: 6am - 6pm 4 on 4 off
Salary: £14.00ph
Key Responsibilities
- Operate loading shovel and 360 grab machinery safely and efficiently
- Load, sort, move, and process scrap metal materials
- Feed processing equipment and maintain smooth yard operations
- Carry out daily machine checks and basic maintenance
Requirements
- Proven experience operating a loading shovel and 360 grab (licenses essential)
- Experience within metal recycling, waste management, quarrying, or similar industries is advantageous
- Good understanding of health & safety practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual attitude
