Job Description:
- Creating CNC Routing / Turning / Milling programs to support fast turnaround AOG and concession orders on a daily basis
- Offline programming of CNC machines using ALPHA CAM or equivalent CADCAM software
- Supporting day-to-day engineering requirements across manufacturing operations
- Working closely with Group & Site Engineers and Programmers to support production and development activities
- Understanding, troubleshooting and improving NC programs to maximise efficiency and productivity
- Identifying continuous improvement opportunities across machining and programming activities
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
- Extensive CNC / NC / CADCAM / Offline Programming experience
- Proven programming experience across CNC Routing, Turning and Milling
- Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings
- Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred, although other precision engineering backgrounds will be considered
- Proven ALPHA CAM experience or equivalent CADCAM software background
