We are recruiting a Feasibility Project Manager for our client in Hull. The company is an interior fit out contractor who specialize in shopfitting projects across the UK. They have an excellent reputation and history of producing quality, fast track fit out projects across the sector for some leading retail clients. Many of these clients are large food retailers such as Waitrose, Co-op, WHSmith, Sainsbury’s etc… They offer flexible, hybrid working but regular travel is required to sites and client offices across the UK.

The Feasibility Project Manager is a new position to the business and will sit below the Pre-Construction Director. You will be working directly with existing blue chip clients conducting feasibility studies to establish which projects will go to site and which ones won’t. You will be scoping projects and doing pre-construction mainly in the food retail sector for interior fit out and construction projects. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure projects are effectively planned, budgeted, and prepared for successful execution.

The successful person will have feasibility/scoping project experience and could come from an operations or commercial background.

Main Responsibilities

• Feasibility studies, Project Planning, Scoping, Bid Management, Risk Management, Client Collaboration, Documentation and Reporting.

Knowledge/experience required

• Previous experience in feasibility, scoping and pre-construction management within the construction industry
• Previous experience / knowledge or the shopfitting / food retail industry (desired)
• Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
