The Project

As an experienced Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of a New Build Housing Development situated in Hull, East Yorkshire consisting of 50 traditional 3-5-bedroom houses. In this role, you will be responsible for seamlessly coordinating all aspects of the project and the team. You will work closely with various other departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth progress, maintain budgetary compliance and achieve high-quality standards. Your strong leadership and communication skills will be crucial in overcoming challenges, promoting teamwork, and ensuring that project objectives are consistently met throughout the development process.

Requirements

For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;

  • SMSTS
  • First Aid
  • Valid CSCS Card

It is also essential that you hold the experience below;

  • Extensive history of delivering high quality housing developments successfully and to a high industry
  • Standard
  • Extensive background within the industry with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Previously managed a team efficiently, providing support and guidance, ensuring impressive project completion

Duties

  • Ordering materials
  • Conduct safety inspections
  • Report directly to Managing Director
  • Management and quality control of sub-contractors
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members
  • Day to day problem solving and dealing with any issues that arise
  • Estimate and allocate the financial resources needed for the project
  • Produce reports on the project's progress, challenges, and overall performance
  • Managing health and safety throughout the site including site safety inspections
  • Keep stakeholders regularly informed by providing updates on the project's status
  • Monitor the project's progress against the timeline and make adjustments as necessary
  • Planning and overall control of all site operations to ensure that the project targets are achieved
  • Develop and manage a project schedule with deadlines and key milestones, ensuring compliance with the project plans
  • Offer leadership and direction to project teams, encourage collaboration, and inspire team members to reach project objectives
